Drivers must possess valid driving licenses, vehicle documents, and required permits.

3. Nature of Service

CitiRide is a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers.

CitiRide does not own vehicles and does not employ drivers.

Drivers operate as independent contractors, not employees of CitiRide.

4. Account Registration

Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

Any misuse of your account must be reported immediately.

5. Ride Requests & Cancellations

Ride availability depends on driver availability.

Riders may cancel rides; however, cancellation charges may apply.

Drivers may cancel rides for valid reasons such as safety or technical issues.

6. Fares & Payments

Fare estimates are provided before confirming a ride.

Final fare may vary due to distance, time, traffic, or route changes.

Payments can be made through cash or digital methods (as available).

CitiRide may apply service fees, surge pricing, or promotional discounts.

7. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

Behave respectfully with drivers and vehicles.

Avoid illegal, unsafe, or abusive behavior.

Not damage vehicles or property.

Comply with local laws and regulations.

CitiRide reserves the right to suspend or ban users violating these rules.

8. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers must:

Maintain valid documents and vehicle condition.

Follow traffic laws and safety standards.

Treat passengers respectfully.

Not engage in misconduct, harassment, or illegal activities.

Violation may result in account suspension or termination.

9. Safety & Liability

CitiRide encourages safety but is not responsible for accidents, delays, or disputes between users and drivers.

Any disputes must be resolved directly between rider and driver where applicable.

CitiRide is not liable for loss of personal belongings left in vehicles.

10. Ratings & Feedback

Users and drivers may rate each other after a ride.

Fake, abusive, or misleading reviews may be removed.

Consistently low ratings may result in account review or suspension.

11. Termination

CitiRide reserves the right to:

Suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice.

Restrict access in case of fraud, misuse, or policy violations.

Users may stop using the service at any time.

12. Privacy

Your personal information is handled according to CitiRide’s Privacy Policy.

By using CitiRide, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described.
